Description

These reclaimed redwood planks, once part of barns and fences rich with history, are prized for their unique knots, textures, and colors. The variety of wood we use, Sequoia Sempervirens, grows exclusively along the Northern California coast in limited quantities. Due to the species being endangered, these planks are only obtainable through reclaimed methods–making these boards even more special.

A sturdy 3/8" thickness coupled with Tongue and Groove edges make these equally versatile for indoor and outdoor projects. We’ve finished these boards with a vintage patina paint, bringing a touch of history and rustic elegance to your home.

  • Material: 100% Reclaimed Coastal Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens)
  • Style: Painted with a vintage patina colors finish.
  • Dimensions: 3/8" thick, 5" wide, and varying lengths from 8" to 48" for staggered edges
  • Installation: We recommend using a 16 or 18 gauge finish brad nailer to nail these planks onto the wall. You can also use screws, nails, staples, or glue adhesive. For best results, give the planks 48 hours to acclimate to the install environment.
  • Shipping: Free shipping
  • Compatibility: Great for both indoor and outdoor wall surfaces.
  • Texture: Each plank is naturally weathered with unique grain, imperfections, and coloration. The back is precision-milled to be smooth and squared, and the sides are Tongue & Groove.

Calculating Square Footage

  • Measure the width and height of your wall in inches.
  • Multiply these numbers to get the total square inches. For example, a wall that is 120 inches wide and 96 inches high equals 11,520 square inches.
  • Convert the total square inches to square feet by dividing by 144. For example, 11,520 square inches divided by 144 equals 80 square feet.
  • Add 10% extra to cover waste. For an 80 square foot wall, order 88 square feet.
  • If you have exact foot measurements, convert them to inches first (1 foot = 12 inches).
